Standard and Concert Tuning 

  A standard tuning service includes pretuning inspection and fine tuning to standard international pitch, A-440.  All manufacturers recommend four tunings a year. One tuning per year keeps the piano from becoming a piece of furniture.   Two tunings per year maintains adequate tuning performance for most people's needs. Three tunings per year provides a professional grade of tuning. Four tunings allows a piano to be in tune throughout the twelve month cycle of temperature, humidity and atmospheric changes. There are some who tune every month.  I am an aural (by my ear) piano tuner who has passed School, Guild and Steinway Concert Artist tuning tests.  I will craft the perfect tuning for your piano, Please contact me for more information.
